Here's an annoying thing about applying for jobs: never hearing anything. I especially hate when I get an automatic e-mail reply to my application that explains that they won't communicate with the rejects because it's just too hard. Um, you just communicated with all the applicants; THAT wasn't too hard. So how difficult is it to write a line of code that says "send the form rejection e-mail to everyone who isn't selected to advance"?
Now, the State of Ohio, those guys know what's up. I applied to work for them and they sent me TWO rejection e-mails, a couple days apart. THAT's how you do it, people! No more of this guessing crap; make sure they know that, yes, we REALLY don't like you.
